Choice Waste strives for perfection in everything we do, including placing your trash can back in its exact spot on the curb where you left it and making sure the lid is always closed. We provide you with a 95-gallon durable, rolling residential trash can to easily transport waste to and from the curbside.
Trash Pickup Guidelines
All household waste should be bagged, placed in the Choice Waste Services provided container, and set curbside by 5:30 a.m. Trash is picked-up once a week, and we also collect up to 5 additional bags or bundles of trash or yard waste per customer pickup. Unacceptable Household Waste
We do not handle the removal of the following items, but please call our office for guidance on safe and convenient rubbish removal solutions.- Major landscaping debris: Rocks, dirt, soil, sod, tree stumps, landscaping timbers
- Construction debris: Concrete, bricks
- Hazardous waste: Paint, motor oil, tires, combustibles, flammable products, dead animals, fecal matter, manure, friable or non-friable asbestos, rechargeable batteries, bio-hazardous material, needles and other medical waste
Bulk and Special Garbage Disposal Items
Have an item that’s too large to fit in your trash can? Simply call our office to schedule the removal of bulk items such as furniture and appliances. We require pre-payment for this garbage removal service.
All appliances containing freon (CFC’s) must be tagged with certification that it is FREON-FREE prior to removal. Contact your heating and air conditioning dealer for CFC removal.
Yard Waste Guidelines
Limbs and brush must be no longer than 3 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter. Please bundle limbs and brush no larger than 2 feet in diameter (armful-size) with rope or twine.
The weight limit for yard debris is 35 pounds per bag or bundle.
Christmas trees are collected the first two weeks of January. Trees should be placed at the curb by 5:30 a.m. and must be free of all ornaments and tinsel. Trees that are over 5 feet tall should be cut in half.
Holidays and Weather Delays
Holiday garbage collection may be rescheduled due to disposal or hauling facility closures. Please check this website for updated weather delay or closure information about your trash service.

Should a delay result, customers who are serviced one time per week should expect to receive service as soon as the next day, weather or special event permitting. If the delay affects a customer who is serviced two times per week, the affected service day will be cancelled and not be made up.
